I realize it’s been quite a few days since I updated the renovation diary. I know, I know – you all have been waiting in suspense to hear how things have been going! Well, things have been going quite well, thank you, in our swanky new space! I have snapped a few shots today to show the difference between when we started the process and how great it now looks.

Oooh...

We are prepping for the Grand Re-Launch event happening here tomorrow night. We’ve recieved a promising amount of RSVPs and it’s sure to be a great time for all! I know I’m looking forward to it (especially eating tidbits off the new menu).

Speaking of the menu, the sales team had a lunch there last Friday and we were absolutely blown away with the new menu items. Not only did they taste great, they were creative, innovative and definitely NOT boring or safe, in the slightest. (Now that I mention hotel restaurant food – be sure to check out the newest Atlantica blog post “The Curious Case of… Hotel Restaurants in Halifax”. ) I chose “Simple” (Chef is also very creative with naming the dishes) which was beautifully sautéed prawns on house-made tagliatelle. I know, it looks incredible right? And it tasted even better than it looked! I am even coming back to eat dinner on Friday!
